    Unitech Online Data Collection Terminal

The MR320 is a compact, stationary data collection terminal that offers flexible operation at an affordable price. It is designed to meet the requirements of most on-line data collection applications and is ideal in Work In Process, time and attendance and general data collection solutions that require simple data processing.

    Flexible operation

In addition to the variety of input devices supported, the terminal can operate online or in batch mode for future transfer of collected data to the host computer.

Its built-in transaction management allows the user to define prompting, field names, length, type, and several attributes to customize their application. This is easily configured through bar code menus or software utilities running at the host. Time and date stamping is provided by the unit's built-in real timeclock.

The 2 x 16 characters backlit Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and an audio buzzer provide feedback and prompting to the operator.

A lithium battery powered CMOS SRAM ensures data retention and a power-on test and integrated diagnostics deliver superior reliability.

Extended functionality is obtained from a TTL output signal, which is used to trigger external devices, including door strikes and status lights.

The MR320 can be placed on a desktop or mounted on a

workbench or wall to facilitate access.
