In addition to read range, the IT5800's key differentiator is its ability to withstand the most demanding industrial environments. Packaged with co-molded rubber polymers, the housing will absorb the shock from repeated drops and continue to outperform all bar code readers in its class. Durability is further enhanced by HHP's core image-based technology. Unlike many other industrial bar code readers, the IT5800 has no moving parts. This solid-state design eliminates all moving image elements and potential misalignments making this imager extremely reliable in tough industrial settings.
