Click image for a larger view Sorry, no brochure is available for this product Features Description Overview Portable Bar Code Terminal DPB5101/5111/5121 The terminal provides high functionality and performance in a compact, easy to use package designed for today's needs. The Bar Code Portable Terminal Series were designed with the user in mind. It includes a built in scanner and other functions to make it easy and efficient to use. It features enhanced functions such as auto-standby, item counting and energy saving features in a rugged, easy to hold, light weight design. It is designed for heavy usage in a wide range of applications. Features - Light Compact Body - The easy to hold, ergonomically designed shape is designed for long periods of use. The terminal weighs only 250 grams (8.8 ounces) in a shape that is easy to hold, even with a small hand. The wrist neutral scanning design and easy to read display makes the DPB5101/5111/5121 tireless to use for long periods. The terminal is small enough to fit in a pocket and be readily available for use. - Auto Trigger Function - Making bar code scanning as effortless as possible, the terminal incorporates an automatic sensor that can be programmed to allow trigger less operation of the built in bar code scanner. In this mode, when the users hand is removed from the terminal it will return to the battery conservation mode to provide maximum battery life. - Long Battery Life - Over 100 hours on a set of batteries. The terminal will operate for 100 hours with two (2) AA dry cells. Longer operating times will be achieved with alkaline batteries. The batteries are easily changed and all programs and data are protected by a lithium back up battery if the batteries should become discharged or are being changed. - Rugged Construction - The inherently rugged Video/CCD scanning mechanism and the industrial grade housing makes the DPB5101/5111/5121 able to withstand the drops and knocks associated with many uses. Strategically placed bumpers and the use of shock absorbing materials assure years of use with the daily drops and bumps it will receive. - Quantity Counter - Easy one handed operation. In applications such as taking inventory or delivery tracking, the trigger switch can be programmed to be used in place of entering a quantity of one with the keypad. This facilitates one handed operation for many data collection tasks. - Large LCD Screen - Easy to read display. The 8 by 16 display allows up to eight (8) lines of alphanumeric data. The terminal can also display kanji characters in a four (4) line by eight (8) character mode. The screen can be backlit to allow use in poorly illuminated areas. - Cost Effective - Efficient operation The terminal is designed to be a high function data collection system at an affordable price. The rugged design and efficiency of operation will provide a total cost of operation compatible with the most cost demanding applications. - Versatile C Language Programming - Meeting the most demanding application needs. The use of C language application programs with the high clock speed allows complex and demanding programs to be developed for this terminal.
